Al Sayadeen, translated as the Fisherman’s Restaurant in English, is a real deal seafood buffet. This simple eatery is based at Muharraq Wharf and offers customer’s fresh seafood dishes cooked in a variety of different ways each day. We particularly enjoyed nibbling away at the steamed crab while looking out at the blue blue sea.

This Keralan fish hotspot is the place to go for fresh seafood in Dubai. Head to this small cabin in Jumierah to order from whatever local fish they have in that day. Normally there is a type of grouper and shrimp, marinated in the spicy ‘special’ sauce. Be prepared to sit on plastic stools in the garden, use your fingers and dig in.
Our top tips are to bring hand wipes, a tablecloth and some candles, to really create a special atmosphere!

We hear L’wzaar in Katara cultural village is the place to get fresh fish in Doha. If the website is anything to go by we imagine this place to be right on the spot.
