Firstly, tell us a little about your company, LemLem?

I started lemlem back in 2007 on a trip to by hometown of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. On this trip, I met traditional weavers who no longer had a market for their goods, I wanted to help to preserve their art form while simultaneously creating job opportunities

What was the inspiration behind your latest collection (Resort 2016)?

We are always inspired by color , for the Resort 16 collection we gravitated towards a nautical inspired blue and red stripe with a special sparkling silver.

We have lots of great new projects on the horizon. We are expanding the collection to make products in Kenya in addition to our workshop in Ethiopia. Additionally, we hope to look into mens and maybe even some more home product down the road!
